Margallah police raided a gambling den in G-9 Markaz and arrested an accused involved in gambling business.
Margallah SHO Muhammad Hussain Lasi said that IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan had ordered an effective crackdown against those involved in gambling activities. Following his direction, a special team under his supervision raided the basement of Laraib Centre in G-9 Markaz and recovered cash, four computers, fax machines, telephones and balloting receipts.
The police also arrested a person Hameed who was running this gambling den of Lotri receipts’ while four other gamblers identified as Abdul Ghaffar, Tariq Javed, Shaukat Ali and Maroof were also nabbed during this raid.
