The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) has seized Iranian diesel from a Hino truck at Nalient near Gwadar, Balochistan. A PCG press release issued here on Wednesday that a joint operation by PCG and Pak Customs, on an information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of Irani diesel from Coastal Highway, during checking PCG and Customs officials spotted a suspicious Hino Truck loaded with diesel at Shahajehan check post near Nalient. On checking the truck by PCG and Customs officials, recovered approximately 10,000 litters of Irani diesel. Its value in the market is stated to be nine Lac rupees. The driver was taken into custody along with the vehicle and the smuggled diesel.
Truck driver, the vehicle and the diesel was handed over to the Customs authorities for further investigation.
