Massive traffic jam at Ravi Bridge

People had to face a massive traffic jam from Kala Shah Kaku to the Ravi Bridge and other link roads on Tuesday due to the railway construction work.
People and transport owners had to face immense problems as both sides of the GT Road remained blocked for more than two hours and queues of vehicles were seen up to Bhati Chowk.
Transport owners and passengers said besides construction, security checking at the entry to Lahore by police was a big reason for traffic jams on the Ravi Bridge.
They said vehicles should be checked but along the roadside, adding all barriers should be removed for smooth traffic.
