Lieutenant (r) Gen Ali Kuli Khan Khattak has joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), it was reported on Tuesday.
Reports said Ali Kuli Khan would make the announcement during a press conference along PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Ali Kuli Khan resigned from the army 1998 when then prime minister Nawaz Sharif promoted his junior officer Lt Gen Pervez Musharraf to the rank of chief of the army staff.
Great news Gen. Kuli Khan is great addition to PTI. PML-N said ever since Gen Pasha retired no one has joined PTI, well here is a slap on their face.!
One vote Mubarak ho.
daikh li na nawaz shareef ki naa insaafi junior ko senior bana dia phir usi nay mian sahb ko jilla watan kia aur sath e sath ma PAKISTAN ka bhi baira gharq kia
An outstanding officer and an outstanding man.
It is important that the retired civil and military officers including retired law men; judges, magistrates and lawyers enter politics to carry Pakistan forward.
i had been waiting for this news for long, now i wish general orakzai join pti too. they are outstanding officers with high integrity. Good luck pti, good luck pakistani nation
Another heavyweight in the basket of PTI. Congrats we are proud to have you sir
What relevance has this got to do with Realpolitikk. He is no politician.
Imran should concentrate more on his message. The masses will flock to him if he gets it right. One vote is one vote.
