The police arrested five book makers including two cops and recovered gambling material from their possession during a raid here late Tuesday night.
According to details, the police on a tip off raided a gambling den located at Litton Road Lahore.
During raid five bookies including two policemen gambling on Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches were arrested.
The police took into custody the gambling material including telephone exchange, mobile sets and other instruments.
However, the situation turned interesting during shifting the culprits to police station as the cops had to push the police van over hundreds of yards to get the engine start. The detainees enjoyed the situation while sitting in the van with big laughter and criticism over police.
