Two PPP leaders, including PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich, brought embarrassment to the party on Monday when they passed rather amusing comments about their party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. The situation turned interesting at a PPP public gathering in Lahore when Imtiaz Safdar Warraich started chanting slogans of “go Zardari go” instead of “go Shahbaz go”. Party workers continued clapping instead of stopping an emotional Warraich from chanting slogans against the party’s co-chairman. However, Warraich soon realized that he was being a laughing stock for private TV channels and corrected himself. Earlier, PPP MPA Dr Sikandar Ali Mandhro told reporters in Badin that President Asif Ali Zardari was “fond of collecting money”. He said Zardari was fond of collecting money and he didn’t even know the places where his wealth was lying.
