1,294 km pipeline to be laid for LNG, Iran Gas

Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited (SNGPL) has approved a project comprising of laying of 1,294 kilometers length of high pressure transmission pipeline from 16” to 42” diameter inclusive of 61,800 compression horsepower.
According to official sources here on Tuesday, this pipeline is being laid for the transportation of upcoming LNG, Iran Gas and anticipated indigenous gas supplied in SNGPL’s network.
The Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has already conceptually approved Project-10 which is envisaged in order to absorb additional gas supplies in future from different sources. According to the details, the Company is expecting flow of 180 MMCFD from Kunnar/Pushaki gas swap at Sawan, 500 MMCFD RLNG at Bin Qasim, 325 MMCFD as 65 percent Mashal RLNG swap at Sawan, 50 MMCFD from Latif Gas at Sawan, 100 MMCFD swap for EVTL at Sawan, 488 MMCFD, 65 percent of Iran gas at Nawab Shah and 22 MMCFD from Sawan gas field.
