The Academic Council of the University of Animal and Veterinary Sciences (UVAS) chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha approved the launching of new degree programmes.
It was decided during an Academic Council’s 29th meeting which was held at Syndicate room. VC said the university would ensure the quality of education because we could not afford any discrepancy at all.
He said that competent teachers had been engaged to equip the students with latest knowledge and research and contributing to produce skilled human resource for the nation.
The Academic Council also approved to stop giving admission to those graduates who had passed DVM from non-accredited institution.
