Pakistan Academy of Letters Chairman of Abdul Hameed on Monday strongly condemned the murder of prominent intellectual, critic and poet Dr Shabih-ul-Hassan.
The PAL chairman said that writers are reformers of any society and through their writings they preach peace to the readers. He said that in a society where writers are not secure no dream of peace can come true. He demanded that the murder should be investigated at the earliest and the murderers should be brought to justice.
