The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that India is creating hurdles in the way of implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani while addressing a seminar in Srinagar said: “The reality is that Indian leaders themselves took the Kashmir issue to the Security Council but now they are putting impediments in implementation of the UN resolutions by resorting to conspiracies.” The veteran leader said that the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon has also asked New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute. “But it is in the interests of New Delhi to occupy us and loot our resources to its fullest. India is not willing to see UN resolutions on Kashmir being implemented,” he stated.
