Colgate-Palmolive holds Global Art Contest

For the past 12 years, Colgate-Palmolive has been organising the “My Bright Smile” Global Art Contest. The contest falls under the umbrella of Colgate’s Oral Health Education Program Bright Smiles, Bright Futures (BSBF), which not only gives children all over the world a creative outlet to showcase their artistic skills but also inculcates good oral are habits in them.
The “My Bright Smile” Global Art Contest is open across Pakistan to all school-going children between the ages of six and nine years, and just like other countries, thousands of entries are received every year from schools all over the country. This year also saw an overwhelming nationwide response with 45,622 entries from 950 schools.
An exhibition featuring original artworks was inaugurated on May 17, 2012 at Alliance Francaise, Karachi. Renowned artist, Ms Riifat Alvi was the chief guest at the event who distributed prizes to the top 100 winners. She was also part of selecting the top 12 winners.
