Asim Queshi (Wapda) beat Salman Virk in the men’s singles final to get to the title while Ayesha Iqbal of Wapda clinched the Chromatex Masters Table Tennis League ladies singles crown beating Mehmooda Haider of the same department here at the Chromatex Chemical Halls on Monday.
A good number of spectators were present to observe the finals.Crystal trophies along with Cash prizes Rs.=25000/= each for winners of men and women events, Rs.=10000/= for runners up and Rs.=5000/= for 3rd and 4th position holders. Mr. Abdul Shakoor from Rustam Towel Group was the chief guest. Mr. Khalid Mehmood Manager Wapda T.T.Team, Shahjehan Latif Secretary LDTTA, Sabah Waris Vice president Punjab TT Association and Mr. EhsanulHaq Khan Chairman Punjab TT Association were present at the occasion.

Asim Queshi (Wapda) bt Salman Virk (PWD)by 4-2 in a tough match with good attention of spectators. Long rallies were played. A good strugle shown by young Salman virk but he lost against experience current national champion. Score 11-8, 7-11, 12-10,8-11, 11-9, 11-8.
