Opposition?

After going through the agony of watching the opposition pitched against the PPP stalwarts who are mostly good for nothing, I feel the entire lot of politicians appearing in the “rhetoric battle on TV” can only talk and talk. The people are fed up with their gimmicks and playing with words. They seem to be least concerned in providing better living conditions to the masses. They are nothing short of pretenders. They say what they don’t mean in actions.
Under the present political turmoil the people have started questioning the need to have such a democracy. Some have even started comparing the present times with what they had under Musharraf; it’s very sorry state of affairs, indeed.
We do not want to repeat all the failures of the present pseudo democracy where the poor are suffering more and more every day. I feel that what really matters is the “will of the rulers to deliver” irrespective of all odds. If they have the intention to perform something for the poor, then God is certainly going to help. How far will they be able to fool the people by their rosy statements? It appears the PM delivers a speech a day to keep the woes away.
And, the long march by PML(N) or PTI, seems to be just rhetoric, as well. They are just Paper Tigers, who can’t leave the comforts of ACs. It may just not be possible in the months of May to September.
