Hazrat Abu Bakr paid rich tribute

The Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Saturday organised Siddique Akbar Conference in connection with the death anniversary of the first caliph of Islam Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique. The conference titled, ‘Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique as Khadim-e-Islam’ was arranged in collaboration of Anjuman Jalalia Rizvia, Rawalpindi.
Dr Riaz Ahmed, director research, Nazirya Pakistan Council Trust, and Resident Director Waqar Ahmed were the chief guest at the occasion while Muhammad Naveed-ul-Hasan Shah, Sajaada Nasheen, Bhikhi Sharif, chaired the conference.
Dr Riaz Ahmed urged the nation to get enlightenment from the friends of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and follow their example to solve the prevailing problems.
Speaking at the conference, RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said that company of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) polished the personality of Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA) that would serve as a beacon light for the entire Muslim Ummah.
Addressing the conference, Muhammad Naveed-ul-Hassan Shah, Sajaada Nasheen, Bhikhi Sharif, said that for following Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), it was important to get guidance from the life of Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA).
Muhammad Zafar Jalali, central secretary general, Anjuman Jalalia Rizvia, was of the view that Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA) always followed the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and fought against evil forces. The conference was attended by a large number of people from the twin cities (Rawalpindi, Islamabad).
