Students’ maiden performance wins accolades

To set a new tradition of bringing new and old students of Mass Communication together under one roof along with colours of creativity, entertainment, fun, leisure, learning and reunion, the Mass Communication Department arranged a 3-hour long entertaining Mass Communication Festival 2012 in National University of Modern Languages (NUML) here on Friday.
Faces were glowing with shining bliss, hall was echoing with cackles of students, feet were thumping on the beat of the music and course-clapping was thrown to appreciate amateur singers and performers and producers. This was the mood of gathering in the festival.
“We always encourage students to participate in extra curricular activities which will help them to enhance their communication skills and it will ultimately help them to be a better professional in future. Therefore, Mass Communication Dept holds programmes like ‘journalistic sitting’, cultural festival, job fares, seminars, speech and writing contests, etc”, said the coordinator of the event, Babar Iqbal while talking to this scribe.
The Mass Communication Festival 2012 was attended by NUML Rector Maj Gen (r) Masood Hasan, Director General Brig Azam Jamal, heads, deans and faculty members of Mass Communication as well as great numbers of students and alumni of the Mass Communication department.
