The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday directed the Sindh government to hold local bodies elections within 90 days. According to a private TV channel, a two-judge bench, comprising Justice Nadeem Ahmed and Justice Faisal Arab gave the orders on a petition filed by former Sukkur Nazim Nasir Hussain two years ago. The bench ruled that the provincial government was constitutionally bound to hold the local bodies elections.
