Two proclaimed offenders were killed while two of their companions managed to flee after they exchanged gunfire with the police late Wednesday night.
According to details, the police chased and approached a robber’s gang in the Manawan area of Lahore. The robbers, on seeing the police party, started firing and tried to flee.
In the retaliatory fire, two proclaimed offenders, identified as Ramzan alias Jani and Mustafa, were killed while their two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Those killed in the fire exchange hailed from Faisalabad and Chiniot and were wanted by the police stations of various districts in five murder and several robbery cases.
