Japanese Ambassador, UK Dy. HC call on Nawaz Sharif

Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, HE Hiroshi Oe and UK High Commissioner separately called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif here on Friday and discussed with him key issues and bilateral relations.
According to details, during meeting of Japanese Ambassador with Nawaz Sharif, issues including bilateral relations, cooperation in various sectors and regional situation with respect to security and economic situation came under discussion.
The PML-N leader lauded the Japan for its cooperation with Pakistan in various sectors especially assistance in acquiring modern technology.
He said that Pakistan and Japan enjoy strong ties of mutual cooperation, trust and both have always supported each other in critical times. “We hope that the bilateral relations would be strengthened further in the days to come” Nawaz added.
Meanwhile, British Deputy High Commissioner Ms Ellen Blake also called on Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Shahbaz Sharif briefed the UK diplomat about ongoing development projects in the province particularly the attention being given by his government for promotion of education.
He said that Punjab has vast opportunities of investment and UK investors would be warmly welcomed besides providing security to them and their investment.
The two sides vowed to strengthen the bilateral relations between two countries and increase mutual cooperation various sectors.
