The dead body of a youth was recovered from the Lines area of the city on Thursday morning, pushing the overall death toll in the unrelenting violence during the last 24 hours to 10, officials said on Thursday. According to police, the dead body was bundled into a sack, which was found near a technical school located in the Lines area this morning. Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, a former union council nazim was gunned down in Malir. Elsewhere, two brothers, Saeed and Mujeeb, were murdered in Baldia Town, and another man, Malik Hasnain, was shot dead in Orangi Town. Also, three dead bodies were found in Lyari’s Khadda Market, Malir and Baldia Town areas.
