Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed on Wednesday excused himself from hearing the petition challenging the status of Prime Minister Gilani. The petitioner stated that Gilani can no more hold the office of the prime minister after being convicted by the Supreme Court and requested the court to disqualify him.
Excusing himself from hearing the petition, Chief Justice Saeed forwarded the case to Justice Umer Atta Bandial.
