The Pakistani embassy in Beijing accorded warm welcome and full protocol to former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf. Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khan also hosted lunch in his honour. Reliable sources told Online that although Interior Minister Rehman Malik had announced to contact Interpol for Musharraf’s arrest in Benazir Bhutto’s murder case, but on the contrary he was given full official protocol during his visit to the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing. Several notable Pakistanis settled in China were also invited in the reception on the occasion. The sources said that during his speech, Musharraf harshly criticised President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, as well as Nawaz Sharif, chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). He also asked the people to support his All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), and assured them that after coming into power, he would pull the country out of crises. The former president, besides meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials, also delivered lectures on Pakistan -China relations and war against terrorism during his weeklong stay in China.

  1. It seems that only pro Musharraf comments are allowed here. Shame on you.

  2. You can say anything against Musharraf Aminullah but you have to observe manners as well. Musharraf is by far the best leader in Pakistan's history after Quaid. but I would definitely support Imran Khan as he is better than Musharraf.

    • I wish Imran success but he cannot go alone and need a talented person who is known in world with a great potential. Gen Musharraf has never said a single world against Imran as he wants to get rid of the knowgn faces. Imran Khan making same mistak of Nawaz Shareef.

We salute to our great hero, the best ever leader in the recent history of Pakistan who has given us a new vision 'Pakistan First' and also proved through his best governance that we have enormous potentials to grow rapidly with honour and dignity. Long live Pervez Musharraf, his ruling time was best for Pakistani nation despite various national and international challenges.

  6. An embassy is hosting speeches critical to it's own government or it's leaders (good or bad) is unheard of on planet earth (unless occupied by renegades) …

But, I guess, it is possible for a country(?) named Pakistan …
