Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has threatened to march to Islamabad if the government did not implement Supreme Court’s verdicts.
Addressing a convention of minorities, Imran said the PTI would bring a tsunami in Rawalpindi on May 27, adding that the rally would merely be a preparation for the tsunami march to Islamabad.
He asked the masses to prepare for it.
The PTI chairman slammed parliament for adopting resolutions in favor of convicted prime minister and against the apex court.
Khan was optimistic that the PTI would form the next government.
Imran said the PTI stood with the people of Pakistan and if no solid difference was made by these corrupt ruling elite to improve the electricity situation soon, it should be ready to face the wrath of the people.
PTI holds talks with JI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday arrived here to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) organised by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI).
During the meeting with Qureshi, JI chief Syed Munawer Hassan remembered the Karachi violence of May 12, 2007, and stressed the importance of free judiciary. 4. Dear Imran, Think before you bowl a BOUNCER. It may be hooked for a six or get you a wicket! Think long and hard regarding the Long march. The love for judiciary should not
turn into lust for toppling the Govt. Instead why don't you point out the failings of the Govt.
They can be listed numerically as follows.1) the immense reluctance of President Zardari to reinstate the chief justice for the obvious reasons which every one can see. 2) How lucky is Zardari to be the President. Flies in from Dubai and takes over the country. Surely no body asked for him! He is no Peron of Argentina.3) The failure to protect the soveriginty of the country day after day.4) No end to power shortages.6) No continuity of service so that no body can be a threat. A classical divide and rule manouvre.
Any PM with any self respect would have stepped temporarily aside while he was being investigated but Pakistan is an exception be it the PM or the President.
Please do the consquent analysis of the long march. If it fails it will be a Tsunami tragedy.!
