The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has finally decided to launch a long march against the government, as its chief Nawaz Sharif summoned Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here to devise a strategy.
PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has asked the party workers to finalise preparations for the long march. According to sources, the opposition party is launching the long march to put pressure on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to resign after his conviction by the Supreme Court (SC) for flouting orders on writing letter to Swiss authorities for reopening corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari. The party has already started the campaign against the PM and his government.
The important meeting of the PML-N leadership would be attended by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and other senior party leaders.
According to the new plan, countrywide protests against the government would be held. Sources said the PML-N would also lodge a high-intensity protest during the budget session in the National Assembly, and the PML-N chief had given the task to Chaudhry Nisar and Senator Ishaq Dar to take other opposition parties into confidence for the protest strategies against the government.
Earlier today, the PML-N took out rallies against the government in Khairpur and Dadu. PML-N Sindh President Ghaus Ali Shah led the rally in Khairpur. Addressing the anti-government rally, Shah said that the government had pushed the country towards devastation; but, the conscious masses were out on roads against the rulers. He said the central leadership of the party would decide about the date of the march. Meantime, PML-N leader Liaquat Jatoi spearheaded the rally in Dadu. A considerable number of women also participated in the rally.
Apparent symptom of Nawaz loosing ways…
Won't work. nawaz had his chance and he blew it about four years ago. He does not have the following that he once had. If he fails that'll be the end of his political career. There is just too much baggage for him to overcome.
GO AHEAD,NAWAZ SHARIEF WE ARE WITH YOU.CRUSH AND UPROOT PPP ANTI-PAKISTAN PARTY.
Another political drama, last try to get cheap publicity.Lost his creditability as real leader always aggressive terrible body language and unimpressive same old speeches people are fed up i think he should try some other trick.
Good move nawaz sharif..you have our support..ppp needs to be torn apart..
Nawaz Shareef himself is a dishonest person and a corrupt politician. He has damaged pakistan as much as any other ruler has done. He is the one who attacked supreme court, bought judges by money, issued special directive as PM to CBR for one day to waive off duties for Ittefaq foundaries, pampered in the lap of military dictators like Gilani and Zia, made himself billioner by the exchequre of the people of pakistan. How many corrupt and dishonest things he has done in his political career. And now he is claiming this.
Shame on you nawaz shareef. Now you are under immense pressure from Imran Khan and you are losing your ground rapidly. Inshallah, your political death is on cards and the time is ripe for it. Enough is enough. Allah ke lathi chale ge and you will be held accountable for what you have done to this nation.
These zardaris and shareefs will soon be eliminated by the Tsunami of Imran Khan.
Nawaz himself is responsible for loadshedding. He cancelled 5000MW TharCoalPower project in 1997. Had not done so, there wud hv been no loadshedding by now. Even present PMLN govt of Punjab did nothing during last 4 years, though provincial govt have all the powers to set up Power Plants in their provinces. Federal govt never stopped their funds. But Shahbazsharif is spending all the money on stupid scehmes like laptops, sasti roti, and ashiana, becoz funds can be easily gobbled in these schemes. Sharif brothers are the most corrupt cartel in the history of this country.
Some people have personal grudge against PPP. Notice it in the comments of Muhammad Younas Butt and Umair. I wonder how they will treat PPP if they ever come into power ! ! !
