The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday sent its investigation teams to the sites of rental power generation for authentication, physical inspection and verification of the installed equipment and to recording of statements of officials working on these sites. The step was taken regarding an inquiry into the rental power projects (RPPs) case under the instruction of Supreme Court.
In case of any violation, NAB can summon the accused for examination. The bureau is committed to getting back the looted Pakistani money from the RPPs and under reconciliation exercise it has recovered another Rs 350 million from the companies, said a statement issued by NAB.
