After conducting raids across the city, the police on Friday arrested three accused in the National College principal assault case.
Gulshan-e-Iqbal SP, Abdul Salam Sheikh said that Rizwan Khan, resident of Landhi, Adil Tanvir of Quaidabad and Izhar Naeem were included among those arrested.
The three accused were named in the FIR, while further investigations were underway.
On Wednesday, members of student organisatons had assaulted the National College principal for not allowing them to cheat during the intermediate exam.
College Principal, Professor Wasim Adil had registered an FIR against 25 students in New Town police station, in which, he had named 10 students.
These so called students are a disgrace to student's community. They are petty criminals and must be treated like that. Shame on them for using violence against the principal, simply because he opposed their cheating in exam.
