Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and the prime minister’s counsel in the contempt of court case Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Thursday said that “some mistakes” existed in the detailed verdict issued by the Supreme Court (SC) against Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, because the decision was “not in accordance” with the context of the case.
Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House, he said that he would submit an appeal against the SC verdict against the PM in the court within the given time.
He said that those who were the members of a military dictator’s cabinet were giving views on the SC verdict against the PM. “Now they consider themselves as pastors,” he said.
Mr. Ahsan, do not play to the gallery. You have a record of publically maintaintening a position for two years and in the court you stand up and say something opposite. Do not prejudice the case. Say, whateve ryou have to, in the court.
aitzaz's commets can be taken as contempt as court. Can we hang him too?
Aitzaz has exposed the tilted judiciary
