One policeman was killed and three others including a civilian sustained injuries in a bomb blast on Kamrani Road in Metro Police precincts on Thursday. Police told APP that unidentified men had planted a remote-controlled bomb along roadside, and detonated it when an official vehicle carrying policemen passed nearby. As a result of the blast, four persons, including three policemen and a civilian, sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to the hospital where a policeman succumbed to his wounds. The attackers managed to escape from the scene. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
