A two member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal adjourned the hearing of the contempt of court case against Babar Awan until Tuesday after hearing arguments of his counsel. During the proceedings, Barrister Ali Zafar, counsel for Babar Awan, apprised the bench that the intra-court appeal that he filed against the decision of indicting his client despite unconditional apology being tendered by Awan was still not heard, therefore, the court should postpone the contempt case hearing. After hearing the arguments, the court adjourned the proceedings until Tuesday (May 15).
