The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced its selection of leaders for all three cricket formats, naming Muhammad Hafeez as new T20 captain and Misabah Ul-Haq as skipper for Test and ODI squads.
Muhammad Hafeez got captaincy of Twenty20 team in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
Separate squads were announced for one-day and Test matches.
PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf announced the squad during a press conference alongside Misbah and Hafeez.
Mostly young players were included in the T20 team.
T20 Team: Khalid Latif, Ahmed Shahzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Umer Akmal, Shakil Ansar, Shahid Afridi, Yasir Arfat, Sohail Tanveer, Saeed Ajmal, Raza Hasan, Umer Gul, Haris Sohaib, Mohammad Sami, Hamad Azam, Nasir Jamshed.
ODI: Mohammad Hafeez, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umer Akmal, Sarfaza Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, Umer Gul, Rahat Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Abdul Rehman, Mohammad Sami, Asad Shafiq, Ijaz Cheema, Azhar Ali, Imran Farhat.
Test: Mohammad Hafeez, Taufiq Umer, Azhar Ali, Misbah ul Haq, Younis Khan, Asad Shafique, Adnan Akmal, Umer Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Abdul Rehman, Mohammad Sami, Faisal Iqbal, Junaid Khan, Afaq Rahim, Mohammad Qayyum Dogar, Aizaz Cheema. NNI

As always PCB has stuck to its controvesial past and included names no body wants to see.Shoaib Malik and Faisal have no place yet they are picked.The press conference was a depiction of the PCB state of affairs.Pathetic.

Afridi is arrogant and has not performed lately.,at international level. He is not a good leader and statesman it is a team game not one man show.
