A roadside blast hit a vehicle of security forces in outskirts of Peshawar on Thursday morning; however no casualty was reported.
Officials said the explosion occurred in Bazid Khail area near Badaber, 24 km from Peshawar, when a vehicle of security troops was passing through the area.
After the blast, security forces arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area to collect evidences.
“The blast is probably caused by a planted device fixed on the road, and the target was security forces. Our teams are investigating at the site,” SP Shafi Ullah told reporters.
The investigations into incident have been started.
