Punjab shines with first position in all three categories of Inter Provincial Girls U-16 Judo Championship held at Coaching Center Punjab Stadium on Tuesday.
Mehak of Punjab won first position in 36 kgs while Madeha of Balochistan stood second. In 40 kgs Rabia Arshad of Punjab won first, Aqsa of KPK attained second while Saba Javed of Islamabad and Fatima of Balochistan were third.
In 44 KG: Irsa Jabeen of Punjab secured first ,Nadia of KPK achieved second whereas Samreen of Balochistan and Saba Aram of Islamabad scored third positions.
DG Sports Punjab Usman Anwar was the chief guest on this occasion who appreciated the winning participants.On the other side,the Inter Provincial boys U-14 Volleyball championship was held at Iqbal Park sPorts Complex.
Punjab beat Sindh 2-0,KPK tossed Balochistan 2-0.Punjab thrashed Fata 2-0,KPK over turned Islamabad 2-0 ,Fata vanquished Sindh 2-0 and Islamabad hit Balochistan 2-0 to enter into semi finals.The semi finals among Punjab vs Balochistan and KPK vs Fata will be held on May 9,2012 at 10 AM at Iqbal Park while the final match will be held on May 10,2012.
