The Forman Christian Inter-Varsity Basketball Championship 2012 concluded here with win for GCU while the hosts FC College stood runners-up in the event. The Formanite Aijaz Mohammad Khan, CEO Polycon Pakistan (Pvt) LTD was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners. The final match was played between FCC and GCU which was won by the later by 66-72 points. In the first semifinal FCC defeated USA, FCC by 44-14 and in the second semifinal, GCU defeated LSE by 60-47. In other matches FC College defeated FAST University by 29-36, USA defeated PAC by 18-34, LSE defeated COMSATS by 23-47, GCU got a walk over against Defence Degree College. A total of eight universities participated in the event.
