COAS Golf Open Championship tees off

Pakistan’s land development giant’s, Emaar Pakistan came forward to sponsor the biggest golfing event of Pakistan the prestigious 31st COAS Golf Open Championship, which teed-off on the lush green golf course in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. All the high ranking players from around the country are taking part in this prominently lucrative event. Rawalpindi Golf Club is one of the oldest Golf Clubs of Pakistan, founded on November 2, 1885 and is the host to nation’s biggest golf tournaments. Haji Mohammad Rafiq Giga – Director Emaar Pakistan said: “As new talent is nurtured through this tournament and experienced ones made stronger, Emaar would want assure all golf enthusiasts that we shall continue to seek and explore new ways of elevating golf and producing even better golfers, while offering you first class lifestyle”. He also added, “Emaar Pakistan is expecting a cracking tournament with fierce competition all around”. A total of 481 golfers from across the country will participate in the four-day event.Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General AshfaqParvez Kayani will be the chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
