Three tortured dead bodies were found from various areas of Lyari on Wednesday, while Additional Inspector General Karachi has suspended two SHO’s due to negligence in overcoming crimes and target killings.
Police said, two dead bodies were found from Lyari stream and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and both identified as Tariq Kamal and Fawad Sheikh.
Police stated Tariq Kamal was the correspondent of English news paper and Fawad Sheikh was a businessman, both went to Balochistan few days ago. When they were returning, some unidentified persons stopped them and found card of newspaper from Tariq Kamal and termed him informer of police. They informed Hub police about the matter. But few days later their dead bodies were found from Lyari.
In another incident, tortured dead body was found from Musa Lane area of Lyari. Police said the body has not been identified so far and shifted the body to civil hospital.
On other side, the Rangers have arrested 5 persons in a targeted operation in Qasba Colony and started further investigations. The 5 persons are arrested in result of a search taken out in targeted operation to arrest accused involved in killing of political workers.
