Small hotels opening in several areas of the federal capital with a brisk pace serving unhygienic food in an unhealthy environment to their customers posing grave threats to human health. It has been observed that the small hotels especially in rural areas being opened alongside with the road and some hotels even do not have any proper arrangements to cover the dust which worsened the situation. Besides the unhygienic food and unclean dishes, the water available at the hotels is also unfiltered. Mehtab Qasim, working in a private company while expressing his concern over the situation complained about the unhygienic food, un-healthy cooking environment and dirty kitchens.
