Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor announced a number of incentives on Monday for the teaching and non-teaching employees of the university.
According to a notification issued, if any employee of the Lahore College dies or gets disabled during active service and may not be able to work satisfactorily, then one of his/her dependants may be appointed in the university, on the basis of their qualification or experience.
The VC also announced a 50 percent discount on the purchase price of admission forms for daughter, sisters of the employees of the university, as well as for female employees.
A 50 percent discount on the purchase price of job application forms for the siblings and children of the university employees was also announced.
Dr Sabiha said the welfare of the teaching and non-teaching staff is a priority of the management.
She stated that talks are underway between the LCWU and the Punjab government to acquire land for a new campus at Kala Shah Kaku and for a housing society.
A residential scheme will be announced as soon as LCWU gets the land, she added.
