Pakistan’s 1st Multi-Modal International Transport and Logistics Exhibition and Conference – Intertrans Pakistan 2012 will be held from May8 – to 10 at Karachi Expo Centre. The event is sponsored by leading industry players including CIM Shipping, TPL Trakker, Ghandhara Industries, Utrade, and Pyramid Logistics. INTERTRANS is Pakistan’s first multi-modal transportation and logistics assembled to provide this important economic sector of the country an event of international stature to promote latest transportation and logistics technologies, equipments and solutions. INTERTRANS PAKISTAN 2012 will ‘Display & Demonstrate’ the latest equipment and services for ports & container terminals, shipping companies, freight forwarders, shipping lines, air cargo, project logistics, trucking, material handling, warehousing and storage solutions, and other related product and services. The exhibition is supported by BOI (Board of Investment – Government of Pakistan), EDB (Engineering Development Board), APSA (All Pakistan Shipping Association), NTTFC (National Trade and Transportation Facilitation Committee), FFFAI – India (Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Association – India) , Pakistan Railways, IMMTA (International Multimodal Transport Association) ACAAP (Air Cargo Agents Association of Pakistan) and ICC – Pakistan (International Chamber of Commerce – Pakistan). 1st Annual Transport & Logistics Conference is also scheduled on 9th May, 2012 which will be addressed by renowned international players from Iran, India, Switzerland and Turkey. In addition local key government officials from Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Ports & Shipping, Ministry of Railways will also be highlighting the emerging regional business trends in the industry and will discuss the challenges faced by the local industry.
