Advisor to Prime Minister on political affairs Fawad Chaudhary said on Tuesday that the country could not move forward if political decisions would be made in the courts.
He was talking to a private TV channel after the detailed verdict of Supreme Court in contempt case came on surface on Tuesday. He said that Supreme Court gave the reasons of prime minister’s conviction in its detailed judgment. It happened first time in the history of criminal cases in Pakistan that court first gave the short order first and then announced the detailed verdict.
“After decision, court takes the signature of the convict but in this particular case , PM was awarded punishment in short order and when he was on foreign visit, the court issued the detailed decision”, Fawad added.
He said the National Assembly speaker would decide the disqualification of the prime minister but earlier to it he had full right to go in the appeal. He said nothing was going to change but only political instability would be three for some time after the detailed judgment of the court.
He was of the view that Article 63-G was not embedded in the Charge Sheet against the PM, but the court gave the decision by keeping away the arguments in the case, which was not correct.

  1. You all bustered, supporting zerdari, who is a criminal, because u all get corruption facility from him,So shame to u all.

  2. How does a criminal act become a political decision? He wasn't convicted on party affiliation. He was convicted on a criminal offense. What message are we sending to the world? That we hold our convicts in high esteem and reward them by electing them to the highest office and giving them total immunity? No wonder the country is so messed up and has become a laughing stock of the world.

  3. This biased judiciary has got no right to destroy the constitution, in history it will be this biased judiciary which will be remembered as the criminals

  4. matter is simple Zardari looted and pludered. He most return all the money. No need to ploticise things. Fawad is a very noisy person. I dont know why he has to shout. He does not manners to carry out discussions He ahs a habit of making noise nad interrupting. God help Pakistan who have idiots like him acting as advisors. One wonders what advice he can offer to anybody

  5. Opposition should make a lot of noise about gillani not being the prime minister anymore after his conviction. They should be hammering the point that any orders he gives anymore would be illegal. Moreover, any civil servant or beaurocrat following those orders would be committing a crime and could possibly face trial and punishment. Wether true or not, it would make a few people think twice and they may even change their loyalties fearing that n-league may come into power (will not happen) and prosecute them. This, in turn, will create chaos. Chaos is good for creating unrest. Unrest will aggitate people. Some oppurtunist General (definately not kiayani) will take advantage of the situation and topple govt. with a promise of elections in near future. Supreme court will legitimize his action. This will secure their jobs. Mob (ISI orchestrated) will attack politicians. Some (nawaz, gillani and sons, rehman malik and a few others) will get killed by the mob. The nation will be grateful. Everybody will live happily everafter. You in Pakistan, me in Monte Carlo 🙂

    • I support u Kamaran. You r doing A GTRAT SERVICE FOR the poor people of Pakistan. U see the gap between the haves and haves is widening every day. But no one bothers. On his leg of tenure, he is trying to grasp as much as he can. We will remain crying but they will continue to plunder till the last moment.

  6. Il est intéressant de voir comment les politiciens changent leurs affliations. Monsieur Fouad Chaudhary a pas si longtemps un porte-parole du dictateur Musharraf est maintenant un porte-parole du Premier Ministre.

  7. PPP, doro, bago, chup ho jao, chchup jao.
