Supreme Court Bar Association President Yasin Azad said that without the Election Commission’s notification Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is a Prime Minister and will remain the same.
He said it is a short order and the detailed order is still awaitd.
Talking to a private news channel, Yasin Azad said that the legal position is that the copy of the detailed judgment would first send to Speaker National Assembly, who then sends it to Chief Election Commissioner after making reference within a month.
He further said if Chief Election Commissioner okays the reference after completing proceeding within the period of ninety days, he will refer it to Speaker National Assembly who will then send it back to Election Commission. He added that the Election Commission will then notify that PM is no more a member of National Assembly.
He explained that Lawyers have no business with the call of political parties as they work independently. He further said in case of any national issue, lawyers only respond to the call of the Bar Council. He added that lawyers have given no call till the moment.
Short-sightedness highly affects Asian students: About 90 percent of high school graduates in major East Asian cities are suffering from myopia or short-sightedness, a large study suggests.
Ian Morgan of the Australian National University in Canberra, and colleagues who reviewed 101 papers and sources believe the epidemic in young Asian people is caused by environment rather than genetic factors, Iranian Press TV reported.
“The higher prevalence of myopia in east Asian cities seems to be associated with increasing educational pressures, combined with life-style changes, which have reduced the time children spend outside,” says the report published in The Lancet.
“East Asian countries with high myopia now dominate international rankings of educational performance.” Spending long hours reading and writing, video gaming and watching TV are among the potential habits causing the “extraordinary rise” of short-sightedness among children living in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
For instance, sun exposure is believed to stimulate production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter which stops the eyeball from distorting the focus of light entering the eye. “It’s pretty clear that it is bright light stimulating dopamine release which prevents myopia,” said a researcher adding that being in the sun for two to three hours a day even in cloudy weather may be significantly helpful.
