Nurses appreciate Aiwan-e-Iqbal

Students of Nursing School, Lahore General Hospital, Sunday visited the Aiwan-e-Iqbal building.
The study tour, arranged by the administration of the school was led by the Principal Ishrat Ishaque and instructors Shahida Rasheed and Aarifa Tasneem.
The visiting students took round to various sections of the Aiwan-e-Iqbal and showed their immense interest in the poetry of the great poet of the East written on the walls of this grand building. They also visited the library where a large number of books written on Iqbal’s poetry were preserved.
Principal Ishrat Ishaque threw light on the thoughts and vision of the poet which impressed and inspired all the great philosophers of his age and to come after.
The representative of the Aiwan-e-Iqbal briefed the students about the history and various aspects of the building eructed in the memory of great philosopher and poet of the East.
Students Ariba, Shaheen, Yail John and Saba Waris termed the study tour very useful and stressed the need to conduct such tours frequently so that nurses engaged in diseases and medicines every time with constant pressure on their minds could share some moments to general life.
