Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday said President Asif Ali Zardari’s ill intentions about the judiciary were clear from the very beginning.
Talking to senior journalists and columnists at his Model Town residence, Nawaz said had the PML-N not launched the movement for judges’ reinstatement, the judiciary would have not been restored.
To a question, he said it was a good sign if Chief of Army staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Kayani had played a role in the reinstatement of the Supreme Court judges. However, all state institutions should work within their limits, Nawaz said.
He said if the PML-N had any ill intentions at the time of the long march, it would not have returned from Gujranwala.
Nawaz said Zardari had blown apart the Charter of Democracy (CoD) and all the promises made by Benazir Bhutto.
“We did not want to repeat politics of 1980s and 1990s, but the government forced us to do so,” he said.
He said he challenged the PPP government for not accepting the Supreme Court decision, adding that this attitude would cause destruction in the country.
The PML-N chief said whenever his party talked about the government’s corruption and bringing back Swiss money to the country, the rulers became furious and started baseless propaganda against the N-League.
He said there was not a single example in the world other than Pakistan where a convicted person was serving as the prime minister. He said Gilani had lost the legal and moral justification to remain the prime minister, therefore, he should resign immediately to save the country from further crisis.
Nawaz said the PML-N would take a decision on the option of collective resignation after consultations with the opposition parties. “Every option could be used to send the rulers packing,” he said. To another question, Nawaz said the defence budget should be debated in parliament and wondered why the government was reluctant to do so.
The former prime minister said load shedding, inflation and poverty were on the rise. Nawaz praised the role of the media in the restoration of the judiciary and unveiling the corruption of the government.

  1. We trust you Nawaz. You are the only anti establishment leader. The rest are puppies of agencies and are there to repeat the failures of past. Dharnas, tsunamis and false hopes of change are to deceive people.

    • what anti-establishment? He offers bounties to SC judges. And and and he booked millions of money to pay for their electricity supply, though there is no such provision in provincial accounts for SC judges which is purely and absolutely a federal account, and illegal for the provincial govt. Why not these Insaaf Pasand judges take sue moto notice of this illegal action Punjab govt? Just becoz it is in their interest. Selective justice is no justice.

  2. Schedule for hanging:
    1. Gillani in 2012 (earlier the better)
    2. Kiayani in 2012 (fall would work)
    3. Nawaz in 2013 (early in spring would be good)
    3. Zardari in 2013 (late summer would be ok)
    4. Altaf in 2013 (may take time to bring him back)
    5. All cabinet members (past and present) with a year
    5. MNA's first and then MPA's (spread over the next two years)
Schedule permitting, all corrupt beaurocrats wihin three years.
List can be modified as needed.

    • You have run out of your thinking reservoires. An educated but illiterate person. Aban Punjab which urban middle classes have strange political thinking unlike in other parts of the world where urban middle classes are front guard of liberalism and secularism. I have no objection to your SouthAsian style of english but I do have objection to your obsolete and time-warped anti-democratic appealing to martial forces, A terrorist in the making. Include a little IQ in your posting rather than poisonous brain storming

      • I am proud of you TazeemJan. You have learned a few new words in english. Now you have to practice using them in proper way and context 🙂 You should have listened to your elders and not drop out of school in fifth grade. Can you explain what SouthAsian style english is? Is that what they talk at the tandoor? Listen, this isn't about you or me buddy. Its about the corrupt, inept and incompetent gillani and all his cronies. Unless you can explain the corruption and defend his total lack of handle on governance, I suggest you just crawl back in your hole 🙂

        • Now. Mr Kamran I did reply to your comments but this newspaper blocked my comments coz certain quarters r criticism free in this country. Yes, your style of english is South Asian. After learning some english in a pathetic Pakistani english medium school, you have the audacity to ncall others fifth grader. You behave like a wash room cleaner in a Pakistani restaurant

          • Your explanation of SouthAsian english is just brilliant 🙂 Somehow I just missed it. It just didn't appear. Can you try again? This time try to differentiate between SouthAsian and any other kind of english. You gave away your profession by telling me how wash room cleaners behave. I would never have known 🙂

        • Why r u clamouring for 12% of budget instead of 88%. It s better you use ur upper storey before calling others fifth grader. You utterly lack political IQ, and it is typically lacking in urban midddle class Punjabies. You r unable to understand political terms used in some context and that speaks clearly of your lack of political knowledge. yet you claim to be an educated person. All educated people are not educated enough. Go and study some books on Pakistani political history. Dont behave like a first grader Lahori THARA BAZ.

  3. TazeemJan, don't make me start correcting your english. It'll embarass you. Please take an evening english class after you finish you work at the tandoor before you attempt to write something in a language that is total foreign to you. What exact "political term" were you refering to that I did not understand? And I never did get an answer on you daddy gillani's corruption and nepotism. What was your justifucation again? Last time I asked you to crawl back in the hole. This time I'll shove you back in the hole you came out of 🙂

  4. I can condone your mistakes in english but I can not forgive you for mistakes in political analysis. Even first graders dont make such spelling mistakes besides loopholes in structures. Never mind, I pity your stinky thinking and cat-calls for army to take over. I suspect my comments will be blocked like the previous one. Better you go back to your profession of wash room cleaning instead of puting up ur weird comments.I hv no sympathy for YRG but I regret your ignorance of Pakistan's political history.

    • Please don't continue to show your ignorance by trying to use words bigger than yourself especially when you don't have a clue what they mean. I can go line by line and ask you questions but I will not embarass you because I know you will have to find someone literate enough to read and write english for you and that may be hard in your neighbourhood. Besides, you do a good job embarrasing yourself 🙂 Going back to the issues, did you come up with any answers? You have yet to answer one single question that I asked. Shows your total lack of ability to debate. Let me give you a friendly advice :"its better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and confirm your stupidity". Get it? You might want to ask your daddy gillani to explain it to you.

      • I challenge you to embarass me with your questions if you really are son your father. I know the level of knowledge you have. It is manifest from your comments here that you have read nothing except junk type of political material, that imparted in you this superficial thinking. Your comments show an illiterate THERA mentality. I challenge again to put up your "questions", if you really hv brains to do so. I read your comments carefully and estimated your political IQ. If you have bought some good house with payments from agencies in a posh neighbourhood, you must hv brought some change in your old THERA mentality. Nature cant be changed and this old saying fits squarely on you. A sewage breed will stink whereever it goes.Dont indulge in women like vituperation. Do some analytical work in your postings. Like a newly educated person from some illiterate rural backgroung you boast repeatedly of your english language skills which r no more than a english school master in a village school.

        • Again, your answers to my questions are…………..? TazeemJan, you could be my brother from another mother 🙂 Get it? Now go back and find the hole you came out of and crawl back in it. Hint: its between two legs 🙂

          • When a person runs out of arguements, he starts abusing, and you r left with nothing, and now spineless

          • Why r you slow? Just ask somebody sitting beside you to write something for you, if you r unable to write something.

          • You really belong to some sewage Makhlooq. This shows your the kind of scum you r. You hv no questions. I judged it from ur comments. I know your mother becoz you appear to be like your mother.

          • If you really know me who I am, you will not find a place in your mother's………………….lap

          • I wonder how this newspaper allows your utterly obnoxious and immoral remarks whereas my analysis is repeatedly blocks, however polite I try to be. It is pathetic. You must hv some good connection in editorial body of this newspaper. Of course, you appear to be on some agency pay-role

          • I am sure you will be practising your comments on some piece of paper; so much for your language skills

          • Your comments to Pakistani:"I will push him untill he puts up or shuts up". I have heard some retired army officers talk like this

      • Alas! What can I do? This newspaper readily publishes your comments, meaningless and hollow as they are. But since I analyse the forces behind political dynamics, and certain quarters are considered criticism-free in this country, my comments are blocked again and again by this newspaper's editorial body.

  5. hahahaha kyun larr rahay ho yaar? we should all unite against all of these crazy leaders of ours..matt laro…koi faaida naee…apnay apnay kaam per dehaan dou, pakistan ko roshan banana hai…
    🙂

    • I'm having fun 🙂 He refuses to answer questions and cannot give a reasonable answer about zardari/gillani corruption. I will push him untill he puts up or shuts up.

      • You are gutless, and unable to push even your wife. What to speak of others. Now you r losing temper, and that s what I desired..hahah. Now, name one book on politics you read. Just name one, and I will judge level of your understanding. You r having fun, but I am seeing a TAMASHA.

        • Just ask your sister, do I push her hard enough? She says I do and she loves it.

          • If you really know who I am you will run like a coward and wont find a place in ur mother's………lap

    • BBBBBBB ….just ur question? u r out of ur mind, but I know how to treat mad people. Just behave urself. I hv enough resources to trace you out…and then…u r coward…

  6. TazeemJan, you are going down the wrong road with me buddy. Your master zardari and gillani are corrupt. Gillani's son is a drug dealer and his daughter is a nymphomaniac. Do you know what that means? Tell me.

      • You already had a dictionery. I told u I hv resources to trace you out. And If u know who I am, you will run into ur mother's lap but wont find a place…U act like a school boy, finding some word in dictionery and asking me meaning…wah…how simple…

    • You already had a dictionery. I told u I hv resources to trace you out. And If u know who I am, you will run into ur mother's lap but wont find a place…U act like a school boy, finding some word in dictionery and asking me meaning…wah…how simple…

    • In this period u have not been able to write more than one liner, and I am sure you practice a lot on a piece of paper before writing ur comments, having learnt english from some Mohalla english learning school

  7. You can come out of your hole now. Its probably getting hot in there. And wet 🙂

  8. crying "come out of hole from a hole"….better u come out of ur gutterM Hole. U understand

  9. Don't worry about tracing me. Just ask me. It'll take you days to ride your bicycle to reach my house though. And you are welcome to come and visit your sister. I'll make sure she has her clothes on before you come 🙂

    • Mr. B I hv enough resources to come to ur house. Dont worry. I can take ur sister and she wud be happy to live with me seeing wealth, even your wife will leave you taking all cloths off and wud like to leave a BHUK MANGA who keeps boasting of his english( it really shows where u belong). Dont be happy that u live far from me. I can reach anywhere. Dont worry. a small thing. Getready ur sister, she is waiting, and ur wife, she knows u r spineless.

  10. Now that I've had some fun, lets go back to exposing your ignorance. What was your answer to zardari/gillani corruption? What is your justification for a convicted prime minister to stay in his position? Why does zardari not tell us if the millions in swiss banks are his? By the way, your sister can suck a golf ball out of a hose. She is good. Did you teach her?

    • For me it is a Tamasha of ur stark ignorance of political dynamics. What ur unable to understand is bloody power politics which is being played behind these churned out corruption scandals. You really play these suck games with your sisters, u so fond of indulging this obnoxious remarks game. But ur sister is fond of sucking heavy hammered forehead and then bleeding it out.

      • Thats not what your sister says. She says that I'm the best of all the hundreds that she's had before. Even better than you 🙂

  11. AzeemJan, let me tell you something. The more comments are posted here, the more people will read it. The more people read it, the more humiliated you'll be. I suggest you stop now before you lose any self respect you might have left. Or else, I will keep abusing you.

    • I am amazed why you r not feeling ur own humiliation? Is it becoz u r product of " that area of old Lahore" and people belonging to that area dont have any respect to feel their humiliation.

      • I only used to go to that area to see your family. I must say your sister was better than your mother. I could have drilled another hole in your sister but………Don't be so ungrateful. I helped them out in their time of need. I even took a bunch of my friends. I was surpresed how well you sister handled all of them. She was sore by the morning though. I hope you comforted her 🙂

  12. Corruption does not make case for army to take over. There is far more corruption in India, and there r dacoits siting in Bihar assembly, 40-50, and those r real dacoits. Still Indians are slowly moving to a stable economy becoz of stable democracy. They r as much fed up with their politicians as we are, but none of them calls for Indian army to solve problems. They know army will aggravate the problems not solve them. But impatient middle classes of Punjab make calls to army.

  13. Lets not compare other countries to Pakistan. We have unique problems. India, with its huge geography and population, it not a good canditate for army take over. On the other hand, China does not have democracy and yet their growth is phenomonal. How do you explain that? When there is corruption in the country, merit is disregarded. When merit is disregarded, bright and deserving people get left behind which in turn hurts the growth of the country and demoralizes hard work and competence. Get it?

    • For people living in urbanized areas of central Punjab unique problems are of corruption, and misgovernance. But our administration and bureaucracy is mostly dominated by Punjabies and they r to be blamed for this. For people of smaller provinces provincial autonomy and monopolistic policies of Punjabi dominated establishment(U must understand what I mean) are tmain problems, and corruption is secondary. It is a political ploy used by Punjabi dominated establishment against politicians of smaller provinces. The same slogan of corruption was used against politicians of former EastPakistan before 1971, and brilliant Bengali leaders were disqualified for minor and fabricated corruption charges.

    • Never invite military to take over. It will poretend disaster for multi-ethnic pakistan more than any other country in the world. In Iran Persians are dominant both in area and population, same in Turkey and Indonesia. India is a historical nation. In Pakistan 45% Punjabies( excluded Seraikies) hv 15% of area, whereas 3 other provinces hv 85% area and much more strategically placed than Punjab. Now, monopolistic attitudes of Punjabi middle classes and establishment hv created fears in minority provinces. This is a very crucial subject and requires many pages to be discussed. You must get the hints.

  14. Pakistan is a heterogenous state with multicultural and multi linguistic societ and its provinces hv the worst relation among themselves inthe world, becoz of monopolistic policies adopted by Punjabi dominated establishmeny…I dont want to discuss this issue coz then my comments will blocked.

  15. Do you believe that a bigger province with a bigger contribution to the national economy deserves their proportionate share in govt?

  16. Why do you think our provinces have such a bad relationship? Who do you think is at fault?

  17. In your opinion, how mich autonomy should be given to the provinces? What should federal govt. keep? Should provincial govt be responsible for its own defense and currency? How would you allocate federal jobs? And on what basis?

  18. Where did you go TazeemJan? I really would like to know why you feel the way you feel? I think I might be able to clear up some misunderstandings. I would also like to know the motives behind supporting ppp leadership. Don't take me wrong. Nawaz is just as corrupt and I do not support him either.

  19. The man has a bitter cabbage inside the top end of his body. The government stance from the very first day was that they can not have 2 CJs at one time, and Ch. Iftakhar will be reinstated only after the retirement of (J) Dogar. And that’s what they did. Now he has been continuously trying to take undue credit, and in return getting undue favours from the judiciary.

  20. Oh brother ,why u are talking badly to each other, Zardari & Gilani both are the corrupted, So we should raise awareness among people about them.
