Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that plundering national resources is a tradition of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party.
He stated that the party had utilised public resources for its personal purposes every time it came into power.
Commenting upon the statements of Firdous Ashiq Awan and Raja Riaz, Rana Sanaullah said the Pakistani nation will hold the PPP accountable for using government-funded television to spread its propaganda.
He said the state-run television is not the property of Firdous Ashiq Awan but the public institution is now being used to advertise about federal ministers after every hour.
The Law minister said the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam had been planning for decades to form their government in Punjab but that these plans will never materialise.
Sanaullah said the government’s days were numbered as it had been increasing the prices of petrol, gas and electricity every month.
The minister said the prime minister is demanding a resignation from Shahbaz Sharif, but that Gilani himself is not ready to step down from his office despite the Supreme Court’s verdict against him.
He said the court’s decision is being ridiculed openly.
He said the PML-N will continue its protest against the federal government until the court’s decision was implemented and that the corrupt government will be forced to bow before public pressure.
