Leads University Mass Comm students visit Pakistan Today


Mass communication students from the Lahore Leads University visited Daily Pakistan Today on Saturday, May 5. The students delegation led by LLU Lecturer Fraaz Mahmud was welcomed by PT Operation Manager Waqar Paracha.
LLU Lecturer Fraaz Mahmud introduced the students to the newsroom environment and briefed them about different tasks that are run parallel at the newsroom.
Highlighting the growing importance of Web Journalism in Pakistan, he said that to meet the present-day-world challenges, we shall have to shake hand with the technology.
PT Operation Manager Waqar Paracha briefed the students about the function of press. He made them see different sections of the press and talked about their functionality.
The students admired the PT’s environment and vowed to serve media in future with the help of such institutions.
At the end, LLU Lecturer Fraaz Mahmud thanked PT’s administration on behalf of LLU and hoped such coordination in future as well.

  3. we learned a lot from this visit of pakistan today. Through this visit we understood, what is the news room and how to work(edit news stories and upload on a the news website) in a news room.
