Robbers looted Rs5 million from a private bank taking hostage the staff at gun point and fled the scene here on Friday.
According to police, six armed men barged into the branch of a private bank located in Gulgasht Colony of Multan and took hostage the bank staff at gun point. The robbers looted Rs5 million from the bank and fled in a white car bearing registration number FDA-6196.
Heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area after the bank robbery and launched search operation but the robbers managed to escape with looted amount.
