Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday said a consensus resolution would be tabled in the National Assembly on Friday calling for the creation of Hazara province. Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House, he said the law minister would table a resolution seeking consent of the House for creating Hazara province. He welcomed the passage of resolution for Seraiki province and said more provinces must be created. Castigating PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, he said Nawaz should wait for the detailed judgment as the apex court had not disqualified the prime minister.
“The government will complete its tenure. The PML-N must avoid a rowdy attitude in the august House.” Shujaat said he was not seeing any grand alliance in the making in the near future against the government because of divergent views of the opposition. He said his party had been working for the last three years for the creation of a separate South Punjab Province and at last succeeded in getting passed a resolution from the National Assembly in this regard.
