Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that law and constitution is being ridiculed in the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam.
Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating harvesting of wheat at village Manzoorabad near Wazirabad, Tehsil of Gujranwala Thursday, he said that we were living in a country, the prime minister of which is convicted. He said we have to get rid of Ali Baba and 40 thieves for making Pakistan a welfare state and symbol of Charter of Madina.
He said that farmers had achieved record wheat crop by running tube-wells with costly diesel and purchasing fertilizers at high price from the commission agents of Zardari which is commendable.
He added that corruption of federal government had made Pakistan a begging country and for the sake of few dollars permission for killing the innocent people had been given.
He said that Pakistan was achieved as a result of numerous sacrifices under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam but the present corrupt rulers had ruined it. If we want to transform Pakistan in accordance with the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam, we shall have to launch a struggle by uniting under the flag of PML-N and the leadership of Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif, he added. He said further that only PML-N had the ability to put the country on the road to progress. He said further that the image of country would be restored at international level by making it Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.
He said further that the country was facing crisis of electricity and gas due to poor policies of federal government whereas massive corruption was committed in providing chemical fertilizers to the farmers at high prices which are vital for agriculture development.
Earlier, the chief minister inaugurated harvesting of wheat by driving harvester and congratulated the farmers. He asked the nation to march forward with commitment so that our all dreams could be materialised.
