The footpath at sixth road Satellite Town has been in dilapidated condition for several years and causing inconvenience for the people.
The broken footpath leading towards Siddiqui Chowk is creating problems, especially for students going to their schools and colleges.
The footpath is situated in thickly populated area of Satellite Town while the residents of the area used the footpath for walk and jogging purpose but fractured footpath is causing inconvenience for them.
The footpath was reconstructed several times, but due to use of substandard material, it gets damaged again and again. The residents say they had been using the way for two years and found the footpath always in broken condition while scattered bricks and sand cause inconvenience for them. They added that the broken footpath gives clumsy and embarrassing look to the diplomatic enclave.
The people have demanded of the administration to reconstruct the footpath on priority basis and ensure use of standard material.
