BlackBerry has re-enabled App World – official store for BlackBerry applications – in Pakistan. Readers of Pakistan Today can download the application on their Blackberry handsets for instant access to the online edition of the newspaper.
Canada-based manufacturer of BlackBerry Research in Motion (RIM) enabled App World in Pakistan in February but the service was closed after a day. For paid apps users have to use BlackBerry Payment Service that requires a user to create a BlackBerry account allowing them to make payments through PayPal or Visa.
