Over 20 dead as Lyari operation enters day four

The pitched battles between law-enforcement personnel and heavily armed gangsters continued on Monday in Lyari locality of the city as the crackdown entered fourth day.
Fresh police reinforcement was sent to the restive area where thousands of people are confided inside their homes due to the ongoing operation against alleged criminals.
At least 20 people, including four police officials, have been killed and 55 were injured during the last four days in the exchange of fire. Two cameramen of private television channels were also among those injured.
On Monday, two people were injured in firing at Cheel Chowk area.
Owing to the tense situation, ninth class exams scheduled to be held on Monday were cancelled in the examination centers of the area.

  2. Translation This man known as Aslam Chaudhry is not even Inspector Clouseau. He is neither Clint Eastwood who is famously known as Dirty Harry. The people of Pakistan may not know that 'Dirty Harry' pursued vigilante role but he was honest. Is this Pakistani 'Dirty Harry' really an honest man? He is using excessive firepower without any planning which has resulted in a humanitarian crisis.
