Senior PPP leader and Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan on Sunday said that Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah was running affairs of his ministry as he was on leave.
Responding to media queries at the Karachi airport while leaving for Dubai, he said the CM might be approached for deployment of Rangers in Lyari.
Clarifying his position, he said that he was on sick leave from April 25 and during this period Shah was running the affairs of home ministry.
Wassan said, “When I took office, things were in very bad shape,” and dispelled the impression that operation only focused at Lyari.
